It has been an honor to serve our Canyon County network.
Canyon County has had a wonderful year - We have dreamed huge, we have taken bold actions towards our goals and we have celebrated many successes along the way!
So far this year, we have hosted THIRTEEN superb Women’s Council events. We “Rang in the New Year” with ways to increase our income by positioning homes on the market to sell, financially planned our businesses, we learned to go from “BLAH to BLAZING” on social media and discover our inner strengths with motivational speaker Dr. Kituku. We had a fun-filled evening of networking at our annual “Bowl a Thon”, we learned about helping our clients with credit repair. We awarded two college scholarships to deserving local students. We hosted a New Member Orientation, as well as an NAR-required Ethics course to help our REALTOR members with affordable continuing education credits and we invited a fierce St Al’s speaker to share healthy lifestyle options with our network so we stay healthy during busy times. Our REALTOR safety month speaker kept us on our toes with insightful work safety practices and we elected our 2019 officers. We attended Mid-Year in DC and our President-elect attended 360 Leadership Academy and Idaho Leadership Orientation in Cascade. This November, we sent our entire 2019 incoming governing board to National Convention Boston to keep our network’s momentum going strong into the new year.
Since October 14, 2017, we’ve had an 11.5% increase in REALTOR membership going from 26 REALTOR members to 29 REALTOR members, in an effort, to strategically grow toward our April 2020 Membership goal of 50 REALTOR members.
The momentum and passion that you have seen in our 2018 leadership will continue to thrive with our 2019 officers.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to everyone who made 2018 a fantastic and successful year, particularly our network officers and Project Team Leaders, our 35 members and 19 Strategic Partners who are an enthusiastic and powerful force of our wonderful Network.
Our Canyon County members are present in all levels of our Realtor boards. In our local network, our programs and events focus on professional and personal development so that each of our members can be the best version of themselves, as they continue to grow, and achieve successes in the Real Estate industry with a high level of mastery.
“We ARE a network of successful REALTORS®, advancing women as professionals and leaders in business, the industry and the communities we serve.”
We ARE a Secure Place to Grow as we have Endeavored to Take Bold Actions Implementing our Chapter to Network Plan while Celebrating Success.
We ARE a powerful voice for homeownership.
We ARE thankful for the support and guidance of our Women’s Council of REALTORS.
As famed author, Isabel Allende wrote, “Give, give, give - what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it?... It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine.”
My travels to Chicago and Washington D.C. to learn leadership skills at our National Women's Council of REALTORS conferences has been life changing and impactful.
I am extremely grateful to have served as your 2018 Women's Council of REALTORS Canyon County President.
